A) Special School for the Mentally Challenged. |

The foundation started the school in 1997 for the mentally challenged at Vithalwadi. The Foundation is proud to have graduated 108 special children with basic education and vocational training for the past 12 years. The school provides facilities like special education, vocational training, play and recreational activity and provides its students with nutritional support and traveling to and fro. |

B) Religious Projects. |

In yet another social initiative by Vedanta Foundation we are supporting the Vittal- Rukhmini temple at Pandharpur by providing a Dharmashala, “Vedanta Bakht Niwas”. This temple at Pandharpur is visited by mostly under privileged devotees namely “Warkaris”. The objective is to provide accommodation and basic amenities to the innumerable devotees visiting the temple. We have planned to come |

C) Roti Making Machine. |

As a new initiative the Foundation is donating “Roti Making Machine” to institutions serving a good no of under privilege sections of the society. This plan is in progress where we are in the process to donate more machines to such institutions. We have donated Roti making machine to Children Aid Society, Dongri, Ramakrishna Mission and Female Beggars Home at Chembur. |
