Keeping in mind the vision and philosophy of the Foundation, through this free CA coaching it aims to render assistance to the underprivileged that wish to pursue CA but cannot afford it due to expensive coaching fees of commercial classes. This activity is a joint initiative of ICAI and Vedanta Foundation and with their help it is envisaged that in due course of time the range of activities and the coverage of its modules will be extended progressively to the higher modules. This will be the first step to create a batch of students who are motivated and focused on perusing the arduous career of The Chartered accountancy Examination where the percentage of pass ratio is between 2% -10%.
BPL Students with at least 60% in class HSC examinations and would be eligible for selection. The classes will be held for five days a week for duration of three months. Besides providing basic infrastructure for learning, the students will also be provided required study material. These students in turn will imbibe the ethos and the values that will be inculcated into them and will carry out into their profession in particular and in social life at large.
Through this program, the Foundation envisions to generate a large class of Chartered Accountants who will not have only the academic knowledge of the profession but will also have a social orientation. Coaching classes have already begun at Vedantas East, North and West Zones with the capacity of approximately 50 students in the initial batch of CPT students and in due course of time the range of activities and the coverage of its modules will be extended progressively to the higher modules (IPCC and Final Modules).
