For many, life in prison is the end of the world. The belief seems to be more common in India. In the four walls they retrospect and reform them into disciplined citizens through various means, once they come out of it. Vocational courses are one such means, which help a convict or under trial in a big way. Vedanta foundation along with Tihar Jail set up vocational training centre’s in jail premises.
These centres are given free vocational training on computer literacy. We have provided complete infrastructure for these and highly experienced faculty. The vocational training centres in the jail will give over 1,000 inmates opportunity learn and prepare for a reputable source of earning, once released from prison.
